| How can I
find a Modem Initialization String for my modem? |
- Use Hyperterm to dial your modem. This will cause a log file to
get created in the Windows directory with the name ModemLogXXX.txt
where XXX is the modem name.
- Open the file and view the initialization string.
- After the port is opened with the OpenComPort(), use
ModemModifyString() string_code=1 to set the new initialization
string.
- Issue a ModemInit() call before using the modem.
